We're not dead (I hope)

Anyway, as many of you may or may not know, Mike Dimartino and Bryan Konietzko signed on for a new Avatar series with Nickelodeon. But as of a few days ago, we got some more info on this new series.

Apparently, this new world is set seventy years after the happenings in the "The Last Airbender". Aang is dead (at age seventy roughly), and Korra, a Southern water tribe waterbender, is the new avatar. She is a teenager, already having mastered three of the four elements, and needs to learn airbending from Aang's son, Tenzin. It is set in this awesome steampunk looking city where Korra hopes to rid the crime and make peace and all that awesome avatar jazz. Oh yea, and they say that it should be here about 2011, so it should air roughly three months after that.

Who else plans to spend the next five years dedicated to waiting for new episodes for this show????

...Or hoping for Teo and Toph to have lots of grandchildren running around? *crosses fingers* Can Teo even have children?

I propose a ~Contest~ of sorts to celebrate news of this magnitude:

So THE LEGEND OF KORRA Contest will begin today, and will continue until the new show begins! Needless to say, this isn't so much of a contest as it is a celebration, but if you manage to wow us, we will... I don't know- do something cool for you OMG ~superaura will draw something awesome for whomever impresses us the most. No limitations- draw what you think Korra will look like, what Tenzin will look like, what her friends will look like, what Teo and Toph's grandchildren will look like Go nuts!
